Severe Service Deficiency with Tata Motors EV

When an EV becomes a nightmare: 18 Months of Severe Service Deficiency with Tata Motors & lost 2.2 Million INR On March 11, 2025, I purchased a Tata Curvv EV (Reg: CG04QF4866) from National Garage. Over the past 18 months, this vehicle has become an ongoing safety hazard, spending more time sitting idle at the Sai Ram Service Center in Bhilai Despite incurring daily cab expenses of ₹2,400–₹3000 on a daily basis during extensive vehicle downtimes, the operational negligence I've faced has caused severe financial and mental harassment. Below is the verified timeline of persistent failures: 🚨 100+ "Critical Error" Breakdowns: The car repeatedly stalls mid-journey, stranding me on the highway between Bhilai and Raipur. I had to initiate 100+ mail threads, 200+ phone calls to get my issues noticed. 🚨 Life-Threatening Dynamics: The vehicle suffers from severe rolling and pitching. Following a repair, the car flashed an "Auto Hold" error, followed by violent jerking and uncontrolled acceleration and deceleration mid-drive. 🚨 Defective Loaner & RSA Failure: I was provided a loaner EV that plummeted from 8% to 0% battery within minutes on the highway. Tata RSA ignored my calls, forcing me to pay out of pocket for a private tow. They paid reimbursement after 3 months after 100+ requests. 🚨 Property Damage & Missing Items: Original floor mats went missing in their custody. Recently, my vehicle was returned with a punctured spare tyre, missing door mats and a broken Lord Ganesha idol on the dashboard. 🚨 Cover-Up & Denial of Service: Sai Ram staff refused to fix the damage they caused, withheld mandatory Job Cards for two days, and flatly refused future service. Regional Manager Manikant ji also failed to deliver a promised written assurance of a defect-free vehicle. My Demands to Tata Motors: An immediate full refund of the vehicle purchase price due to inherent manufacturing/safety defects, along with full compensation for all financial losses and harassment. I am bringing this to the immediate attention of Tata Motors leadership, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), and the Department of Consumer Affairs.
