30K Refund not yet processed, despite cancelling booking 3 weeks ago

Recently booked a Villa for an outing through Ekostay. This is not the first time. Have done it in past too.. But the recent experience is has been a disappointing one. I had to cancel the villa booking due to change of plans. It was also within the cancellation policy. While my booking was successfully cancelled (for which I even received a confirmation email), the company simply delays the refund processing. Despite regular follow-ups and messages, the refund is not yet done even after 3 weeks of cancellation. When you call them, they say it will be done today or tomorrow but they delay it without a firm closure date with no communication whatsoever. You have to chance your own money out, which is very annoying. While booking it has to be on spot full amount to be paid and for refund, no visibility. Word of caution - prefer Airbnb or Stay Vista over Ekostay if you plan to look for villas.
