I placed an order worth INR 4000 during the sale and waited 10 days with no shipping update. After following up with customer support for the last 2 days, I finally got an answer.
Apparently, my order has been returned to the vendor due to an issue, which means I won't receive it.
But here's what I don't understand...
Instead of honoring my original order or offering a replacement at the same price, I'm being asked to cancel the order and place a new one. The catch? I'd have to pay a much higher price for the exact same products.
How is it fair that customers have to bear the cost of a fulfillment issue that wasn't their fault?
To make matters worse, the only compensation offered was a ₹30 coupon.
A successful sale isn't just about attracting orders with discounts it's about fulfilling those orders and supporting customers when something goes wrong.
